For almost three decades, I’ve worked in the beauty industry behind the chair, in front of the camera, with countless weddings, events, and productions.
I became a hair and makeup artist sooner than I can remember. Having this desire was never something I gave much thought to - it was more like the driving force beneath the rest of my life.
By the time I officially entered cosmetology school, I already had people asking me to do their hair and makeup. Friends, friends of friends, acquaintances - they all became my eager clientele.
When I started working professionally, onsite beauty services were still uncommon. Most artists worked from salons or studios. But I found myself traveling constantly - weddings, portraits, events - bringing my kit wherever I was needed.
Before long, I was coordinating additional artists just to keep up with demand, building a team to service events together depending on timing and services needed. At the time, that kind of onsite coordination was also rare.
What I didn’t realize then was that I wasn’t just building a business - I was watching a gap in the industry that had been overlooked, and it was only getting bigger.
Where others saw accepted industry frustrations, I saw opportunities to improve the experience for both clients and professionals.
And these are the reasons why I created Hair & Makeup PROS.

How I Built My Standard
I built my reputation on something simple:
Do the work well. Show up on time. Care about the person in the chair.
Sometimes that meant losing money. Sometimes it meant staying late. Sometimes it meant fixing problems that weren’t mine to fix.
But I always came back to the same principle: If someone trusted me with their event, I made sure I didn’t fail them.
Over time, that mindset built something bigger than a client list - it built trust. And that trust is what carried my work forward.
