For almost three decades, I’ve worked in the beauty industry behind the chair, in front of the camera, with countless weddings, events, and productions.
Over that time, I kept seeing the same problems repeat themselves;
Clients wasting their time searching for an affordable and trustworthy artist.
Brides left scrambling after last-minute cancellations.
Talented artists struggling to find consistent work.
Artists spending more time marketing themselves than actually doing the work they love.
None of it felt right - Because at the heart of it, this industry needs trust - and too often, that trust was being broken.
I knew there had to be a better way.

Where It Started
I became a hair and makeup artist sooner than I can remember. Having this desire was never something I gave much thought to - it was more like the driving force beneath the rest of my life.
By the time I officially entered cosmetology school, I already had people asking me to do their hair and makeup. Friends, friends of friends, acquaintances - they all became my eager clientele.
When I started working professionally, onsite beauty services were still uncommon. Most artists worked from salons or studios. But I found myself traveling constantly - weddings, portraits, events - bringing my kit wherever I was needed.
Before long, I was coordinating additional artists just to keep up with demand, building a team to service events together depending on timing and services needed. At the time, that kind of onsite coordination was also rare.
What I didn’t realize then was that I wasn’t just building a business - I was watching a gap in the industry open up right in front of me.

What I Saw Up Close
As the work grew, so did the responsibility. I got so booked that I had to turn people away. At the last-minute I received the “my artist canceled” emails - Brides in panic trying to figure out how to fix a day that can’t be redone.
I also saw the other side; Incredible artists who were talented, reliable, and professional - but invisible online unless they paid for ads, boosted posts, or got constant referrals from other pros in the industry.
There was a clear disconnect.
The people doing great work weren’t always getting seen - And the people getting booked weren’t always dependable.
That gap became impossible to ignore.

How I Built My Standard
I built my reputation on something simple:
Do the work well. Show up on time. Care about the person in the chair.
Sometimes that meant losing money. Sometimes it meant staying late. Sometimes it meant fixing problems that weren’t mine to fix.
But I always came back to the same principle:
If someone trusted me with their event, I made sure I didn’t fail them.
Over time, that mindset built something bigger than a client list - it built trust. And that trust is what carried my work forward.
